ROSE & RAMONA

Faux Pas's name might sound familiar from his Waterfalls EP with the excellent "Rose's Lament" that came out last year. Here he is again, this time with a remix of Paul Dempsey - who some of you might know from the Australian band Something For Kate. Personally i had never heard of them before but i like what i hear and in the end that's what really matters, no?

Wow! I was the biggest SfK fan back when I lived in Melbourne 65 years ago! They'd just released one ep that I got through the drummer's sister whom I went to school with. Loved it.

They made in big over there, but never really anywhere else, and had become quite boring by the time I left them behind. This rmx however brought out the innermost beauty, thanks!

the rectifiers remix is good too yes! : )

Ruhvana: it is!

Simon: coool, you lived in melbourne! it's strange how bands can be so big in one country & completley unkown in the rest in the world. i guess the internet wasn't as big back then? : )

I guess I clung on so hard to paul's frustrated melancholic voice to counterbalance the general "surf's up" attitude amongst the bbqing footballers. no offence aussie readers, but it just wasn't my country at all.

and the internets, well... I got a few emails sent to the school library adress, which they printed out and handed over to me. things were not neccessarily better before.
