Danish duo Kenton Slash Demon recently brought out the final part of their 'Schwarzschild Solution' triptych, a trilogy of EPs released on Tartelet Records.
As the name suggests, the releases are inspired by the Schwarzschild theory on the galaxy and the elements that form it. Sun is probably the most airy one of the three, while Matter is much gloomier - not in the least bit because of the haunting vocals by Oh No Ono. Daemon then, features vocals by Bear In Heaven as well as their bandmate from When Saints Go Machine and forms a perfect ending to the trilogy.
These are three delicate pieces of electronica of which I find it hard to pick a favourite, but I think for most people that favourite would vary depending on the mood you're in. The three singles each reveal their own character yet form a well-balanced unit as a whole.
Also, Daemon has a great video consisting entirely of analogue wireframes (=strings, nails and lights). If you haven't seen it yet, watch it on vimeo.
And then buy part I, II & III!
Kenton Slash Demon - The Schwarzschild Solution Part I - Sun
Kenton Slash Demon - The Schwarzschild Solution Part II - Matter
Kenton Slash Demon - The Schwarzschild Solution Part III - Daemon
