ME & MADONNA

Originally released back in 2002, 'Me & Madonna' got remastered and remixed, and will be re-released on Kitsuné next month. With delicious remixes by a new generation - most notably the one by The Twelves - its specific goal is to appeal to that younger public that wasn't around yet eight years ago. Nothing wrong with that i'd say. Below is the remix by Grand Crüe, which is in fact Black Strobe's own Arnaud Rebotini + DJ Pone from Birdy Nam Nam.
Aforementioned The Twelves remix is on the new Kitsuné Maison Compilation that got out today (Monday, so that would be yesterday, actually) and can be previewed together with the other remixes here. 2011 will see the re-release of another (and probably the most famous) Black Strobe release 'Italian Fireflies', as well as new solo material from Arnaud Rebotini and a new album from the band.

SOUND OF ACID

I told you there would be more and here it is! Acid Washed has quite a sound and if you remember the Sébastien Tellier remix I posted a while back you'll recognise it easily. They're releasing their debut EP on Record Makers November 23rd, featuring the track below and a track called Snake, backed up with remixes by Blackstrobe and Gavin Russom (DFA) respectively. Sounds delicious.

PS - it's got quite a hypnotising video by Anthony Burrill
