IT WAS SO EASY BACK THEN

DFA's latest release is by an artist whose name probably won't sound too familiar, yet it's quite likely that you've already heard some of his work (if you check out the DFA releases every now and then, that is). Gunnar Bjerk is actually a sound engineer at DFA but is now bringing out his debut EP, with a limited vinyl release of 500 copies.
'Back Then' is a delicate and honest piece of pop, while the b-side 'Stay' shows some heavier synth action. Listen to the entire release and/or buy it here.

DO IT AGAIN

YESSSSSSSSSS.
Holy Ghost have announced their long-awaited debut album! The self-titled album will be released through DFA on April 5th. There's a tracklisting here, the album will feature some previously released material like 'Hold On' and 'Say My Name', but also a bunch of new stuff - below is a first taste of what to expect. It'll sure be an album to look forward to!
They got help from the usual suspects, like Penguin Prison, Juan Maclean, the (late) Jerry Fuchs, but also The Rapture's Luke Jenner and none other than Michael 'What A Fool Believes' McDonnald are contributing. Save the date!
