Usually I'd be reluctant to post only previews of a track, but hey, today turns out to be the day I thought: why not. Today's subject would be Mickey's new single 'Love For Sale' featuring Monarchy, which will be released through Smile Recordings in a little over a week, on January 23rd.
The release comes with two remixes and instrumentals, by Safari and Jeremy Glenn. I can't tell you anything more about Safari other than the facts that we have on the table: this remix is one delicate piece of pop. Very lovely.
Jeremy Glenn's on the other hand packs some of Glenn's more housey sounds and has a particularly strong instrumental. Check the original and other instrumentals on the Smile soundcloud.

Hello again. It was in no way my intention to stay away from blogging this long, it just happened. Probably missed out on a lot of good stuff but i suppose you've all been kept up to date through other blogs!
What did catch my ear are Mickey's latest remixes; one for Tyson's 'Die On The Dancefloor' and one for Beni's single 'Yeah'. Get the Tyson remix if you're up for something dramatic, turn to Beni if you particularly liked the playfulness of his Farfalle EP. Both are of Mickey's finest and should sound amazing when played out.

FARFALLE

This post has been long overdue, especially since I've been looking forward to the release for months. Mickey just got out his debut EP 'Farfalle' on Relish Recordings. The title track is as tasty as farfalle can be, though the other two tracks on the release, 'Prelude' and 'Magnitude', are nothing short of amazing either.
The upside of posting this late is the fact I can direct you to the right Beatport link now, but for all you cheapskates there's the great edit/re-view Mickey made of French singer Michel Sardou. Someone made quite a fitting video for said edit, have a look at it here . And last but not least, there's Mickey's November mix in which he debuts his new remix for Headman that will be out 3rd December!
